A TALE OF TWO SISTERS

This shoot was inspired by a lot of things. One was the Vogue Italia Fashion Editorial shot by Steven Meisel, who had the legendary Linda Evangelista in it. It was not Goth but was centering on a death of a loved one. Two - Dior RTW show make up circa A/W 2008 and lastly the Duomo. Why The Duomo? When I was in IED and we were asked to make a mood board for our collection, I could not help but be inspired by the towering cathedral and everything about it. The period when it was created was so dark and from my perspective The Duomo is the definition of Gothic Architecture

This is probably my most favourite of all that I have done and I thank Marky for bringing the idea to life :)

MY FAVOURITE SHOT! I GOT THIS HUGE PERIWINKLE CLOTH AND TORE A BIG CREAM CLOTH TO MAKE A BELT :)

Mark and I wanted a Swimsuit shoot but I did not want to take the usual route of just featuring swimsuits, so I thought of combining dressy tops with bikini bottoms.

I loved doing this editorial for In Magazine, from the beautiful gown to the lovely model, amazing photographer and uber stylist.

What made me proud of being part of this magazine is that its articles are very well written, it gives you a balance. Shows you the beautiful and glamorous side that is Fashion but it also opens our eyes to situations which needs our attention and immediate action.

IN Magazine is not just for the fashionably aware... this is for the new breed readers.... intelligent, socially aware and doing everything with class.
