Since doing the post on Chopard's 150th Birthday, I decided to do a little research on Celebrities who favour this brand but it got a little more exciting when I found out that a lot of the Oscar Winners were actually wearing pieces from Chopard when then accepted their golden statue.

THIS RABBIT CUFF IS MADE OF WHITE GOLD AND SET AMIDST 7 CARATS OF DIAMONDS, PEARL SHAPED ROSE CUT ORANGE SAPPHIRES TOTALLING TO 15 CARATS. IT ALSO HAS 4 CARATS OF OVAL SHAPED GREEN TOURMALINES AND 2 CARATS OF MARQUISE CUT GREEN TOURMALINES

THIS STORK EARRINGS IS SET IN WHITE AND RED GOLD WITH 2 BRIOLETTE CUT KUNZITES TOTALLING TO 51 CARATS. IT HAS 3 CARAT DIAMONDS, 2 CARATS OF BLACK DIAMONDS AND YELLOW DIAMONDS

Inspired by my dramatic rendition of Material Girl in the bathroom last night (hehehehe), I thought of paying tribute to one of the most Spectacular Jewelry Houses in the world... Chopard.

Chopard turns 150 this year and to celebrate a century and a half of producing exceptional pieces, they have decided to release The Animal World Collection.

The Animal World Collection features 150 unique pieces by Chopard's Artistic Director, Caroline Gruosi - Scheufele. Aside from the usual animals that the Jewelry house normally uses like wolves and cats, they have decided to delve into the exotic - hippopotami, the unusual - seahorses, the imaginary - dragons and the endangered like the koalas and polar bears. This capsule collection required more than 16,000 hours to create.

I was looking everywhere for the Zebra pendant which has 7 carats of pave diamonds but could not find a picture. Aside from the Zebra pendant, the Giraffe earrings which has 1,352 diamonds in yellow, white and brown is something worth googling. :)
