I met Arian during my early days in Multiply and though we had planned on shooting we never really got the chance to do it. I finally met this talented photographer during my 1st Make Up Workshop as his wife, the equally talented Karen Marcos.

As a MUA and Stylist, I am normally behind the lens and sometimes its just nice to be infront of it :)

REINVENT THIS SUMMER WITH BEAUTY BOX

Hi Everyone, the dates for Beauty Box this July is finally out! :) I will be having a small workshop or more like a Beauty Camp every Saturday of July starting on the 10th from 10am to 12nn.

It is not just going to be a Make Up Workshop, but we will be touching on Styling as well, 10 Wardrobe Must Haves, How to Never Look Fat ever with just wearing the right clothes :)

It will not just be Saturdays full of information on Make Up and Styling, but like in all of my previous workshops, it is going to be a way to meet potentially new friends and most importantly it is a way for you to rediscover yourselves :)

2009 was an awesome year! Though the financial crisi hit home, it was a time of creative exploration. Here's to a gorgeous 2010 and an even more fashionable 2010.

A big thanks to all the models, photographers, clients, sponsors who trusted my skills, rest assured that this will serve as an inspiration to work better, produce more beautiful photos thru make up and styling. :)

UNLEASHED... THE FASHION SHOW

The Cabinet Room officially launched its online store and it latest offering for Autumn/Winter 2009.

Prior to the show Abbie showed me the collection as we shot the editorial and keeping in mind the flapper feel of the look, I opted to do a semi 20's look, however, forgoing the black smokey eye prevalent during that era.

The eyes were still smokey but I decided to keep it on the lower lash line, the brows were defined as opposed to the one line brow during the 20's. There was no blush but contoured cheeks and lastly full Aubergine lips.

FACES BY ANNA DE LEON - 1st DAY

It was an early start for me and the team as we made our way to Emirates Aviation College for the 1st day of the workshop.

As a self taught Make Up Artist (could not afford courses back then. hehehe) It was a hit and miss for, I am just thankful to the guidance that I had from my mentor, the countless magazines and books that I stared at and read every single day.

There are 3 main thrusts of this workshop and Number One is to EDUCATE women out there that the multitude of Make Up choices are not there to intimidate but to cater to their various needs and lifestyles.

Second is to remind all the women out there that they are all BEAUTIFUL, naturally and can even be more beautiful with the right products and techniques.

And lastly this is a way of giving back. What God has given you is His gift to you and what you do with it is your gift to Him.
