Tiaras, flowers are the usual headpieces used by the bride during a wedding but I find that there are other accessories worthy of being used on that special day such as headbands.
I think that headbands work so well with up do's with an elevated crown. You may ask, "What happens to the veil?" You may attach the veil at the base of the chignon with bobby pins
