LET'S BRING BACK THE 70'S ONCE AGAIN WITH THIS CUT. MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE AS IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE. I THINK ASIDE FROM THE BOOT CUT, THE WIDE LEGGED IS VERY WORK APPROPRIATE.
VERY VERSATILE. CAN BE WORN WITH BOOTS, BALLET FLATS, PUMPS. A CURRENT FAVOURITE AMONG A LISTERS.
ASIDE FROM BEING SEEN IN A LOT OF RTW SHOWS FOR AUTUMN/WINTER 2010, THE BOOTCUT IS THE MOST FLATTERING CUT. IT LENGTHENS THE LEGS AND IF THE WASH IS THE SAME AS THIS PAIR FROM JEANSWEST, IT GIVES THE ILLUSION OF SLIMMER THIGHS.
A LOT OF DENIM COMPANIES HAVE REINVENTED THIS 70'S FASHION STAPLE. INSTEAD OF BEING BILLOWY AT THE HEM, SOME ARE MORE TAPERED. THIS CUT IS BEST WHEN ITS DARK, MAKING THE THIGH LOOK SLIMMER.
BLAZER: FOREVER 21
TANK TOP: MANGO
JEANS: HOT KISS
SHOES: HIGH STYLE FANCIES
CLUTCH: SPLASH
LIKE THE BAGGY, WEARING THE CROPPED CUT GIVES YOU A LOT OF SHOE OPTIONS. FROM PUMPS TO BALLET SLIPPERS TO SNEAKERS.
BLAZER: THE GAP
TANK TOP: MANGO
JEANS: NEW LOOK
PUMPS: ALDO
THIS CUT CAN BE QUITE TO TRICKY TO PULL OFF. SOME LADIES MIGHT NOT EVEN WANT TO TRY THIS CUT AS THIS HAS A TENDENCY TO MAKE OUR THIGHS SEEM BIGGER THAN NORMAL. IF YOU DECIDE TO WEAR THE BAGGY, CHOOSE A SIZE BIGGER SO THAT IT RESTS ON YOUR PELVIS.
Who does not love jeans? I think that they are one of the best inventions ever. Thanks to Levi Strauss who moved from Buttenheim, Franconia in 1853 to San Francisco in the hopes of opening his brother's dry goods business.
The first denim over alls was produced in 1870, but it was in 1920 when the modern pair of jeans was first created.
I just realised while doing this piece that the cut and colour of jeans determines the entire feel of your ensemble. When I slipped on my pair of black skinnies, the first thing that came to mind was dressing like a rock star or when I saw my bells, I thought of dressing like someone who came from the 70's
I know that there a number of cuts of out there in the market and I do encourage everyone to try on several cuts to determine which pair really flatters them the most.
